This guide explains how to create your own AI Agent using OpenAI Agent Builder<\/strong>, how to get the Workflow ID<\/strong>, and how to call it from your app or WordPress plugin.<\/p>\n

1. Open the Agent Builder<\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to:<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udc49 https:\/\/platform.openai.com\/agent-builder\/create<\/a><\/p>\n

If asked, log in with your OpenAI account.<\/p>\n

2. Create a New Agent<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Click Create New Agent<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Give your agent a name<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Add your instructions<\/strong>
    (example: \u201cYou are a helpful WordPress assistant.\u201d)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Choose your model<\/strong>
    Recommended: gpt-4.1<\/code>, gpt-4o<\/code>, or gpt-4o-mini<\/code><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Click Next<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    3. Add a Workflow<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n

      In the left sidebar, open Workflows<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Click Create Workflow<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Add steps based on what you want your agent to do:<\/p>\n

        Text response<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Structured output<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        API call<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Web search<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        File processing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Function calls<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Save your workflow<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        4. Get Your Workflow ID<\/strong><\/p>\n

        When you open the workflow, you will see a URL like:<\/p>\n
